    Palliative Care NSW Community Conversations

Palliative Care NSW organised a Community Conversations event for the residents and families of St Peters Residential Aged Care in Lane Cove North on Thursday 29 May.

Community Conversations is a free, 1.5-hour education session that brings together palliative care experts and community members for open, thoughtful discussions on topics around end-of-life planning.

Discussing topics like end-of-life with children and loved ones can be challenging. This free session provided participants with guidance on how to reflect and articulate their own responses to questions such as “What type of service do I desire for my funeral?” or “What matters most to me as I approach the end of my life?”

Participants left the event equipped with the tools and confidence needed to navigate these important discussions.

Palliative Care NSW offers Community Conversations at no cost and is willing to travel anywhere in NSW to support any community that seeks to navigate one of life’s most challenging transitions.

If you are interested in hosting a Community Conversations event, contact Palliative Care NSW for more information.

You can put your unused sports gear towards some new art installations.

Donations can be dropped off at:
    Council’s Civic Centre
    Lane Cove Toy Library (open Tuesdays 1:00 – 3:00 & Thursday and Saturday 9:30am – 12:00pm)

Your unused sports gear could become part of something amazing! Spread the word and help bring the project to life.
