Bluey and Bingo Are Coming to the Canopy Lane Cove – 5th December 2025

UPDATE – TIMES HAVE NOW BEEN PUSHED BACK  5,6,7pm due to the heat. Lane Cove Counicl will put up some shade in the Canopy and misting fans in the plaza plus drink bottles for everyone to fill up at water stations.

It’s Christmas time, and Lane Cove Council is again bringing Bluey and Bingo back to the Canopy.

The Bluey Live Christmas Experience is a highlight of the year for Lane Cove kids, and the concerts are bigger than the nighttime concerts held at The Canopy.

Bluey Live Christmas Experience – 5th December 2025

Wackadoo! Bluey and her little sister Bingo are heading to Lane Cove – for real life! Get ready to play Verandah Santa, Keepy Uppy and more.

Date: Friday 6th December 2025
Three Sessions: 5:00pm, 6:00pm and 7.00 pm
Free Event

No booking is required, but you should arrive early to grab a spot on the grass.

Also if you can walk to the event as parking does get packed and there is a bit of a traffic jam when you go to leave.

Lighting of the Lane Cove Christmas Tree – 5th December 2025

Once you have seen Bluey, stick around for the Lighting of the Lane Cove Christmas Tree.

Lane Cove Plaza will come alive from 3.30 pm to 8.00 pm

Enjoy this special tradition for Lane Cove locals!

The plaza will have free kids’ activities, entertainment and special performances finishing with the Mayor lighting the Plaza Christmas Tree.

  • 4:00pm – 8:00pm – Artist Alex Cox paint a Christmas Beetle sculpture live
  • 4:00pm-7:30pm Lane Cove Gift Card Pop-Up

  • 6:00pm – Lane Cove Dance Academy — Contemporary Group

  • 7:50pm – Mayor on stage for a short speech; prepares to walk to the tree for lighting

Come and visit Santa on the stage at The Canopy.  An Elf will be there for face painting
