The Lane Cove Tigers Junior Rugby League Club have teams for everyone.

The Lane Cove Tigers Junior League Club is a family-friendly club that offers boys and girls the opportunity to play rugby league and league tag in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment.

For younger kids (U6 to U9), they offer a modified, non-contact tag program to introduce them to rugby league.

It serves as an introduction to the sport, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and the development of a love for the game.

The U10S then participate in a tackle-ready program.

The Tackle Ready program teaches participants proper, safe techniques, preparing them for the tackle phase of Rugby League.

Girls’ league tag teams are available for girls from U10S through to U18S.

Their girls’ league tag teams have shown significant growth over the years and continue to do so.

This year, they also continue to offer a girls tackle program for the older age groups.

There are also pathways through the North Sydney Bears to play at a representative level and join their extensive development squads.

They generally train on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays at Tantallon Oval, Lane Cove.

If you intend to register your child to play this season, please ensure you select the correct size for the Playing Jersey, Shorts, and Socks, as these items are included with your registration. Hope to see you at our club soon.

Play Safe

If you or your child is playing sport, make sure you invest in a Mouth Guard.

Did you know that more than 5 million teeth are knocked out during sporting activities every year? What is even worse is that it’s estimated between 30% and 50% of these injuries could have been prevented or would have been less severe had a mouthguard been worn.

Find out more here about mouthguards from www.appledental.com.au

If we have missed a Lane Cove Sports Club registration day please let us know.  If your club would like more exposure, contact us at [email protected].

In the Cove provides free event listing for all Lane Cove Sports Clubs and Community Organisations.
