The NSW Seniors Festival will take place from Monday, 2 to Sunday, 15 March 2026.
The theme for this year is Live Life in Colour.
During this time, events will be held across NSW. Through the NSW Seniors Festival, local community organisations deliver a wide range of free or low-cost events and activities that help older people stay active, healthy and connected to their communities.
These activities include everything from cultural and creative workshops to health, fitness, and learning programs, with many taking place in regional areas. Keep an eye on our what’s on page for more information
NSW Seniors Festival Expo
Come along to the NSW Seniors Festival Expo, which will take place from Wednesday, 11 March to Thursday, 12 March 2026 at the convention centre.
If you are visiting the expo, you can simply turn up on the day without a booking.
You can explore 80+ exhibitors showcasing the best in travel, lifestyle, health, home services, entertainment and more. Plus, enjoy interactive workshops running all day.
This is a free event; no ticket is needed.

Lane Cove Senior Events
This March, Lane Cove Council invites you to Lane Cove Seniors Festival 2026 – a month-long celebration of connection, wellbeing and community.
The program features more than 30 events that reflect Living Life in Colour, encouraging you to try something new, stay active, and reconnect with others.
The biggest event is the Live Life in Colour at Galuwa event on Wednesday, 4 March 2026 at the new Galuwa Recreation Centre, featuring interactive activities, wellbeing sessions, community stalls, complimentary morning tea and more. Register here.

Laughter & Disaster
Want to learn skills to improve your health and wellbeing? Start your day with a laughter workshop with fun interactive laughter activities, breathing exercises and stress relief techniques, along with a presentation on emergency disaster preparation tips.
All participants will receive a FREE Mini Emergency Hand Crank Portable Radio & Charger and an Emergency Document Holder, worth over $55.

First Aid Awareness for Seniors
Join us for a free First Aid Awareness presentation that provides information on what to do in medical emergencies. Topics include calling 000, how to manage unconscious breathing casualties, the recovery position, CPR demonstration, and signs and symptoms of medical emergencies

Devonshire Tea Weekend
Enjoy a complimentary glass of bubbles with your Devonshire Tea or choose from coffee and homemade cakes. Guided tours are available at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm or take a self-guided tour through this beautiful Victorian-era house at any time.
