INTRO TO THROWING (Wheel Work) WITH JANINE FLEW
8 WEEK TERM
Saturdays 2-5pm
Discover the fundamentals of forming clay with the potter’s wheel over a 9 week term course. You will learn how to centre the clay and to make bowls, cylinders, plates, mugs and cups. Decorating techniques include carving, sgraffito, slip trailing, use of underglazes and more. Then glaze and fire your work.
Excludes clay which can be purchased from the Studios as required . Earthenware clay is priced at $20 a bag. Keanes Raku Clay at $25 a bag.
No previous experience necessary. Please bring a towel and apron. Call us or come in to book.
