The Alcott was once a humble cottage. A space that has been transformed over decades, passing through the hands of several owners to become what it is today – a home away from home for our locals. It’s a haven for delicious food served with a smile. It’s a place for good times spent with friends over a drink. A stylish entertainment hub for the Lane Cove Community.
We’ve even built a memento into the new renovation, with a foundation stone from the original cottage mounted within the wall of the entrance; a permanent reminder of where we came from.

Unwind and enjoy what’s on at The Alcott, starting with Happy Hour every Monday to Friday from 5pm to 7pm, where you can sip on your favourite drinks at special prices in our stylish lounge. Kick off your week with a fun-filled Trivia Night every Monday – perfect for some friendly competition and a chance to win great prizes. For the little ones, Messy Makers happens every Friday at 11am, offering creative and sensory play for toddlers while you relax with a coffee. There’s something for everyone at The Alcott, so come along and enjoy the fun!

The Sirocco seats up to 120 guests, or caters for up to 200 cocktail party guests.
We can arrange everything you need to make your event one never to forget – from food and beverage to AV and entertainment. All under the roof of our beautiful, architecturally-designed event spaces.
From our Mediterranean-inspired menu, choose from ‘Bites ‘n Bowls’ – delicious canapes and small food bowls for cocktail parties – or shared plates designed to sit, eat and enjoy.
