David Starr loves the ABC. Join us to listen to his journey as a photographic artist.

David Starr began photographing at the age of 16 with a series of portraits of an immigrant family. Since then, he has held 13 solo exhibitions that explore European cities, Australian landscapes and photojournalism. Inspired by the natural world, he patiently strives to capture moments of emotional stillness and contemplation. David is a qualified art therapist.  He lives on the Northern Beaches as well as in Croatia. He is passionate about opera, the South Sydney Rabbitohs, the music of Verdi, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Mahler, Eno and Bowie and, of course, the ABC.
