Artist Talks, Guided Tour & Closing – Women of Strength and Honour

Join us for Artist Talks, a wonderful chance to listen to the artists and connect.

Featuring

🎨 Ann-Maree Armstrong, Miriam Cabello, Pooja Kaul, Aunty Jeanie Moran, Reena

Naidu, and Aunty Karen Wallace.

This will include a Q&A and a guided tour of the exhibition, led and moderated by

curator and artist Miriam Cabello.

🎨 This exhibition features paintings, drawings, ceramics, sculptures, and music by

Indigenous and non-Indigenous women artists from Australia’s First

Na+ons‘ Cammeraygal and Yirrganydji country, La+n America (Mapuche, Chile), India,

and Fiji.

The works collectively explore strength as something practised daily through care,

resistance, cultural knowledge, and connection to place. They speak to honour and

belonging not as fixed ideas but as ongoing processes shaped over generations.
