This 4.5-hour workshop is a combination of Yoga and Birth Education to help you prepare for the birth of your Baby. To build your self-confidence and learn how to access your wisdom and inner strength. To help You and Your Partner be a strong team! You will leave the workshop with a toolbox of beneficial techniques to help you towards a positive birthing experience.
The Workshop will include:
- Yoga and Movement and how it can assist you in Labour
- Partner work: How you partner can be an active support during the labour (partner poses & massage)
- Breathing practice and discussion about the importance of breath and how correct breathing can help you stay calm and focused
- Partner work to build confidence yours and your partners
- Meditation and relaxation techniques for Labour
- Creating positive affirmations
- Preparing a draft of Your Birthing Plan
- Anatomy of the uterus and the function and importance of different hormones that can influence your birthing experience
- Afternoon Tea & Healthy snacks
