13 October 2023 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Get creative at Black Friday Upcycle Jewellery Workshop! Repurpose old pieces into new gems during Sydney Craft Week. All abilities welcomed

Join us for a unique jewellery-making experience at the Black Friday Upcycle Jewellery Workshop with Bridget Kennedy. Held as part of Sydney Craft week, this creative event is perfect for all abilities and promises to be a fantastic way to spend your Friday the 13th.

Date: Friday, 13 October

Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Bridget Kennedy, an experienced artist, will guide you through the fascinating process of upcycling and repurposing old costume jewellery pieces to craft ‘brand new’ earrings, a bracelet or neckpiece. Suitable for beginners, this workshop welcomes everyone to explore their artistic side.

The event will be held at Gallery Lane Cove and Creative Studios’ outdoor terrace (or in the Bernina Studio if poor weather).

In line with our commitment to fostering a vibrant arts community, participation is by donation. This means you can contribute as much as you feel comfortable, making this workshop accessible to all.

Mark your calendar for Friday the 13th and get ready to unleash your creativity!

We look forward to seeing you there for a memorable day of artistic expression and jewellery-making.

This workshop is held in conjunction with ‘Remade-Reloved’, a group exhibition curated by Bridget, on display at The Australian Design Centre – https://sydneycraftweek.com/events/remade-reloved-2023/
