Crop Swap is joining Eden Gardens as part of their Sustainability Festival. Why not share your fare at our place in Macquarie Park?

Did you grow zucchinis this year and have more than you can eat or pickle? Why not bring along your backyard bounty and trade it with others who might have something else you are short on. Do you grow too much basil, have too many seeds, or is your freezer not big enough for your end of season pesto? Simply, Crop Swap Australia facilitates the swapping of homegrown produce, seeds and edible plants through local, cashless markets. These nation-wide groups build community, reduce food waste and help people to eat better, for less.

Join us at the fabulous Eden Gardens to meet your neighbours, swap excess produce and fairly barter with like-minded people for fresh, local and delicious goods. This is a family-friendly venue with a covered space and parking. You are welcome to enjoy all that the nursery has to offer after you have swapped however plants must be either returned to your car or left in the swap area due to the nature of the venue. This is community AND gardening in action, and at Eden Gardens you can be safely under cover, but still in the open air under our foyer.

Anything edible, herbal and medicinal is allowable. Please note that as this is a commercial nursery NO noxious weeds can be brought along to this event.

Please stay home if you feel unwell and limit touching of items on the tables to when only necessary. We will have sanitiser available and will observe COVID-safe event protocols.
