“Kapwa duo consists of Matt Thackray, who shreds on guitar / vocal and Wayne Fabian, who brings the beat on the cajon / stomp box. Playing classic pop, rock and reggae songs in their own style, Kapwa aims to spread good vibes and connect people from different walks of life regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or religion through music, hence the name, Kapwa, which means “kindred”, “neighbor”, and “fellow humans” in tagalog, drawing on the duo’s Filipino roots.”
