Drawing on over 20 years of experience in developing, implementing, delivering and evaluating learning interventions; the PosAbility team provides an individualised and Intensive evidence-based Intervention for children with learning difficulties. This program is aimed for students who are at least two years behind their peers and require intervention of high frequency and intensity.
The PosAbility Team will present an overview of current research regarding the treatment of specific learning difficulties in reading, writing, spelling and numeracy. They will outline the key ingredients for successful intervention, including information specific to the PosAbility Intensive Program and the results of the students who have attended the program over the last 18 months.
We are inviting parents, teachers, special educators, allied health and medical professionals who are interested in knowing more about this program.
