Lane Cove History Prize Information Stand

Are you interested in history? LCHS will have an information stand at Lane Cove Plaza Saturday 21st April 9.30am – 12.30pm. Come by and pick up an information brochure. You never know, it could make you $2000 richer!!
You may:
 -have an interesting story to tell about events in your family or local community in Lane Cove;
 -know a local identity with a lively personal history in Lane Cove;
 -know the history of some person who settled in Lane Cove in days gone by;
 -know of some old building in Lane Cove with a curious history;
 -be able to detail the story of a local business and its history from its early days to the present;
 -want to give an account of the opening of a local park or tract of bush land;
 -be interested in the Lane Cove river and its history throughout settlement;
If so, you are invited to submit an entry to the Lane Cove History prize for 2018.
It might be:

 an essay
 an oral history
 a DVD
