Lane Cove is changing fast. Houses are being demolished with high rise apartments looming in their place. At the 2016 Census, more than half our dwellings were flats and apartments – and the number is growing. Is this what we want? Council and much of the community think it’s time to pause, take stock and consider carefully what our future should be. We should have the right and responsibility to have a big say in Lane Cove’s future.
Whether you love the vibe but hate the traffic, love your new apartment or long to afford a house with a backyard or if you just want your kids to go to a school that’s not crammed full and you’d like to see a few more trees and parks around the place, this is your chance.
Admission is free but a small donation at the door would be appreciated
Invited guests:
The Hon. Anthony Roberts, MP for Lane Cove and NSW Minister for Planning -attendance to be confirmed

Come along, hear what they have to say and ask your questions. As a community we need to demand good planning. Our future depends on it. A great place to live is more than your own home. It is also the community and amenity around you.
