Let’s Go Bug Hunting

Join us on this festive season bug hunt and go looking for all sorts of bugs, in particular the shiny Christmas beetle! You will also explore the aquatic creatures living in the creeks – yule be amazed at the variety of invertebrates which can be found.

Any Christmas Beetle findings will support the Christmas Beetle Count, a valuable Citizen Science project.

The dip-netting activity is part of the Water Bug Blitz, a national Citizen Science program. All equipment and guidance provided by Council.

For ages 5 years and above. All children must be accompanied by an adult or guardian at all times. If you are booking a CHILD, you must also book in an ADULT as well.
