Mike Kenny’s Blue Hues – In Concert

After a successful launch in February, Mike Kenny’s Blue Hues returns to Pottery Green Performance Space on Friday, 25th April. Blue Hues is a song cycle of jazz tunes based upon the blues. Each song has a different feel, key, inspiration, and emotional weight, yet all are woven together with the threads of a tradition that has over one hundred years of history. The blues is for everyone because everyone gets the blues. At its best, the blues lifts us out of our everyday struggles to see afresh that our pain is shared pain and our joy is shared.

Performance will be one hour+ set of original jazz tunes in a concert style setting. There is time to enjoy a quick bite before or after the show in one of the many great restaurants and pubs in Lane Cove.
