For over 150 years, Monte Sant’ Angelo Mercy College in North Sydney has been educating and inspiring young women through a values-driven approach grounded in the Mercy tradition. Guided by the principles of Mercy, Justice, Service, Human Dignity and Option for the Poor, Monte empowers students to become confident, compassionate and courageous contributors to their communities and the world.

At Monte, learning is enriched by choice, opportunity and a strong culture of academic excellence. Students can pursue either the NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC) or the globally recognised International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), supported by passionate teachers and an innovative, forward-thinking learning environment. The College offers a dynamic co-curricular program that encourages students to discover their interests, develop leadership skills and express creativity. Opportunities include debating, public speaking, Music Academy, drama and musical productions, cultural exchanges, immersion programs, thirty sports, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, environmental initiatives and the Mercy Action Group’s social justice programs—including the well-loved Fairtrade Café.
