The two founders of Sunscreen Stations Australia are brothers and Old Boys of St Ignatius’ College. The station will provide students, staff and visitors with free access to SPF 50+ sunscreen.
The purpose of this event is to highlight the importance of sun protection amongst the next generation, whilst simultaneously showcasing an innovative new Australian product.
The commemoration plaque and official unveiling of Australia’s first sunscreen spray station will be by Hon. Matthew Kean, MP Minister for Innovation and Better Regulation. Matt Kean is also an Old Boy of our College. Matt will speak about the importance of practicing sun safe behaviour all year round and highlight the innovative approach developed by Sunscreen Stations Australia.
