Plastic Nature: Make your own artwork using rubbish and nature!

This workshop is in conjunction with Ghostwater, an exhibition of Jamie and Danja Derkenne’s work which explores the concept of Solastalgia, the psychological distress caused by environmental change. How can we begin to deal with the mass amounts of waste on our planet? We can rethink our use of single-use plastic and make art with it!

Bring in some recyclables or rubbish and we’ll collect natural materials from outside and create an artwork! You could make a jellyfish out of plastic, a diorama in a box, or decorate a plastic bottle with rocks and flowers, whatever your creative mind comes up with.

This workshop is for parents/carers and their children aged 4 – 8 years old.
