Glass beads shatter but hammer blows forge and shape. Threads burn but flame transforms and unites…Locking down connections between disparate pursuits to find the liminal, Betwixt & Between explores the transition from working exclusively in beads to working with metal and creating work with a narrative purpose that is (hopefully!) more betwixt than betwixt & between.
After working as an interior designer Regina Krawets received a Bachelor of Design majoring in jewellery and textiles at University of NSW (Art & Design) in 2021 and is now studying Jewellery Manufacture at Enmore TAFE. She currently has work showing in Profile 2022: Contemporary Jewellery and Object Award.
