Leading up to Reconciliation Week, we take some time to reflect on the theme ‘Be a Voice for Generations’. Join us for a walk through Country and a Yarning Circle, a traditional way of dialogue and sharing cultural knowledge.
Hear about local Aboriginal culture and heritage with Karen Smith from the Aboriginal Heritage office.
You are invited to ask your own questions about our shared histories and cultures and how we can all contribute to a reconciled Australia.
Light refreshments provided.
The event starts at Longueville Park, site of an emu engraving and we will walk to Aquatic Park, Longueville for a yarning circle (only a few minutes walk away).
Bookings essential, spaces limited.
Please do not attend on the day if you are feeling unwell or have any cold/flu symptoms.
