St Andrew’s Longueville Uniting Church is celebrating the Centenary of the laying of the foundation stone of its present church next Sunday 10 September at 2pm. Members of the Chapman family, whose grandfather is commemorated on the foundation stone will be present, along with local and other dignitaries to remember this significant milestone in our history.
This will be a special service of thanksgiving to those who have faithfully served the church and the community for the past 121 years, followed by afternoon tea in the War Memorial Hall.
