Rising Tide is a national, grassroots movement powered by everyday people passionate about protecting the future.

Turning the Ship, Rising Tide’s new film tells the story of Rising Tide and the extraordinary 2024 People’s Blockade of the World’s Largest Coal Port at Newcastle, attended by over 7,000 people from across Australia.

After the film, hear from volunteers about their experience at the People’s Blockade last year and share some snacks. Learn more about the proposed 2025 Blockade this November, as we build our movement to fight the escalating climate crisis.
