Local writer, Tamara Chapelle, discovered her authorial muse on maternity leave and is now onto her fourth book. She’ll tell us about how she came to write her first book, But Baby, You’re Worth It! This fictionalised memoir is the story of Tabitha, expecting a joyful birth of her second child. The first blissful days were soon forgotten, though, as she began to suffer from potentially life-threatening mistakes made in the delivery room, that led her to make some life-altering and devastating decisions. The subject of this book ties in neatly with much that is currently written about medical misogyny.
