Jenny’s Kindergarten and Early Learning Centre
Jenny’s Kindergarten and Early Learning Centre is now open in Lane Cove North. Jenny’s Kindergarten has built a premium Centre licensed for 56 children per day. It features four specialised rooms, focusing on individualised age groups. Their rooms are designed to specifically cater for children as young as 6 weeks of age, right up until they attend school. Check out the centre on their open day on 10th March.

Le Petit Ballet
A Lane Cove local has opened a new ballet studio in Northbridge. Le Petit Ballet is a boutique ballet studio located in the heart of Northbridge for children 2-8 years. The Homework Collective
Sydney Therapy & Co has opened the Homework Collective. This is an after-school homework centre right in the heart of Lane Cove. Thier vision is to set parents free from the “hassle, nag and tug of war” over getting homework done. The Homework Collective can offer this support for you from Primary School right through to High School.

Everywhere Beauty
There is a new waxing and spray salon in Lane Cove. Everywhere Beauty has one salon in Cremorne and has now opened another in Lane Cove. The salon is located just near the Lane Cove library (in the building behind Tres Jolie on Longueville Road).
Opening Soon
Lillah will be arriving in the next month or so. Lillah is a Middle Eastern restaurant, which will be opening in the old Noodle King premises. You will not recognise the site as it is currently being extensively renovated. They are currently looking for local staff.
Guzman Y Gomez
Hold the Burrito, guess who is definitely coming to Lane Cove!! Yes Guzman Y Gomez will be located in the heart of the Lane Cove Plaza right next to Bakers Delight and Chargrill Charlies.
Martial Arts Studio
A new martial arts studio is coming soon to the old Furever Pets shop in the Village Shop Centre (right next door to The Code and Soulful Fitness).
North Shore Acrobatics Academy
North Shore Acrobatics Academy is a small gymnastics club in Lane Cove. They specialise in both recreational and competitive Acrobatic Gymnastics and work hard to help your child reach their goals, whether that be to have fun being active and improving their strength and flexibility or if they have their sights set on becoming the next State or National champion. Stellar Performing Arts Academy

Lane Cove Gymnastics Club
Lane Cove Gymnastics Club has expanded and moved to a bigger facility (right next door to where they were before). They are also close to the state of art Carlile Swimming centre.
Lane Cove Early Childhood Health Centre
The LCECHC has been temporarily relocated to the Lane Cove Council building. They will be moved back to the Lane Cove Community Centre after the Centre is refurbished. However there is a fight brewing – read more here.
Lane Cove Physio
Lane Cove Physio now has on board an accredited Exercise Physiologist who has a passion for educating and training people to exercise correctly and safely.
Lane Cove Physio are offering structured separate hydrotherapy and land-based exercise classes in 2018 during school terms with their Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologist.

Sydney Therapy & Co is pleased to announce Georgia Clarke has joined their team as an occupational therapist. Her passion is to see clients achieve their goals as she engages and supports her clients to participate in all aspects of their lives. This covers skills related to school, home, social skills, independence, and growth! Georgia is also a practicing Speech Pathologist. She is passionate about using her knowledge to support children and their families. Georgia studied both her Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) and Masters of Speech Language Pathology at the University of Sydney.
Occupational therapy is a role related to the child’s current occupation and development, literacy + life skills such as:
- Self care skills (e.g. buttons, zippers, tshirt/pants, shoelaces, drinking from a cup or using cutlery, opening/closing containers)
- Fine motor skills (e.g. pencil grasp, drawing, cutting, using small toys, beading, writing name/letters, colouring in)
- Gross motor skills (e.g. running, sitting in a w-position, using playground equipment, ball skills, sore legs)
- Completing activities (e.g. avoids trickier tasks, maintaining attention to activities, moves around alot, following routine, following directions, often tired)
- Social Behaviour (e.g. playing with and making friends, sharing, turn-taking, controlling emotions)
- Young People {literacy & lifeskill}
- Handwriting skills (e.g. pencil grasp, forming letters, reversals, legibility, speed, pain, written organisation, generating ideas)
