Lane Cove’s Food and Wine by the River is on Sunday 3 November, Tambourine Bay Reserve, Riverview. This event is getting more and more popular this year and the good news is it will be easier to park with parking at St Ignatius College Riverview.
Soak up the sunshine with friends and family while enjoying some of the Orange region’s finest cool-climate wines – many of which will be new releases.
Now in its fifth year, the family-friendly event, part of Lane Cove Council’s annual Festival by the River, takes place at Tambourine Bay Reserve, Riverview, from 11am to 5pm.

Reason 1 – Sample Award Winning Wines
Sample the best that NSW has to offer! Stallholders from Orange have won a swag of awards between them. Most recently Tamburlaine Organic Wines picked up three Trophies at the prestigious 2019 NSW Wine Awards, whilst Heifer Station Wines are finalists in the ‘Wineries, Distilleries and Breweries’ Category at the upcoming 2019 NSW Tourism Awards.
Reason 2 – Vineyards are located in Drought Affected Areas
Vineyards are farms too! Show your support for drought-affected regional vignerons and food producers by sampling their wares, and pick up some produce to take home and share with friends #buyfromthebush
Reason 3 – Sample Organic and Vegan Wines

Reason 4 – Meet Members of the Wiradjuri Nation
4. Meet members of the local Wiradjuri nation and discover Orange’s Indigenous heritage through the flavours and food of Gerald Power, from Indigenous Cultural Adventures

5. Orange is about more than just wine! Craft beer brewer Pioneer Brewing Co will be there to fly the flag for anyone who’s cup of tea is not a glass of Chardonnay; whilst Greentrees Gourmet Preserves and Second Mouse Cheese Co will show you why the Orange region is considered Australia’s food bowl!

There will be a free shuttle bus running from the Lane Cove Library down to the event so you can leave the car at home.
