Shorties Bar & Dining has a new menu!
Since Shorties opened in November 2017, it has become a place for Lane Cove locals to catch up and relax while sharing a meal with a strong emphasis on Australian produce and everything made in house.
Shorties have carefully crafted a menu of quality homegrown wine, local craft beers on tap and an original cocktail menu (or ask them to make your favourite).
Shorties’ Chef was busy designing their new menu over the Christmas/New Year break. The new menu has something for everyone with plenty of options for diners with dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free options.
The good news is that you can dine in or order the meals for takeaway (5 pm Tuesday to Saturday). To place a takeaway order, phone 9418 9780.

Smalls
The smalls (aka starters) include a vegan starter – pumpkin carpaccio, shiitake mushrooms, hazelnut purée, Campari jelly and balsamic. It looks like a work of art and the perfect start to any meal.
Bigs
You heard it first here. Check out the Gnocchi. Shorties Chef has created a slow-cooked lamb ragu with hand made Gnocchi with parmesan.
Dessert
The new dessert menu is a must-try. After all, dessert is the most important meal of the day. Make sure you leave room for their Salted caramel tart, chocolate mousse and candied peanuts.
Sunday Sessions
Shorties have also introduced Sunday Sessions. Join them throughout February for live music from 3 pm to 6 pm. They are open from 2 pm to 8 pm.
