About 11.30 pm on Sunday 10 April 2022, a black Toyota Hilux utility travelling on Landers Road, Lane Cove North caused or contributed to significant damage to five parked cars.
The utility driver crashed into a parked car, pushing that car into another parked vehicle.

The utility continued driving before crashing into another parked vehicle, causing it to mount the curb and impact another parked vehicle, pushing that vehicle into a third vehicle.
The utility then allegedly drove from the scene.
All five parked cars sustained significant damage.
Shortly after, police attended and found the utility parked nearby.
The driver – a 22-year-old man – participated in a roadside breath test that allegedly returned a positive result.
He was arrested and taken to Chatswood Police Station where a subsequent breath analysis returned a reading of 0.125.
The Newington man was charged with mid-range drink driving and will appear in Hornsby Local Court on Wednesday 4 May 2022.
