Rain = Potholes – How To Report a Pothole to Lane Cove Council

As you know, the recent rain has been pretty tough on our roads.

For the last couple of years, ITC has been asking LCC to make reporting road and footpath issues easier, and we are pleased to say that there is now an online form to report potholes, damaged roads, kerb and gutter problems, and unsafe roads/hazards.

Local Road Issues (like potholes, gutter etc.)  – Lane Cove Council

To report an issue relating to local roads, report online here.

    State Roads – TfNSW

If you have concerns about a State Road, the best way to report it is to submit the information via this Customer Feedback form, and provide a location.

If the road is managed by Lane Cove Council, Transport for NSW will pass the information on to the relevant teams so they can assess the damage.

State Roads in the Lane Cove Council Area are:

    • Epping Road
    • Longueville Rd between Pacific Hwy and Epping Rd
    • Pacific Hwy
    • Centennial Ave between Epping Road and Burns Bay Rd
    • Burns Bay Rd between Centennial Avenue and Figtree Bridge
    Footpaths

To report an issue relating to local footpaths, report online here.

    Other Issues

There is also now a general form where you can report other issues – report online here.

    Cycleways

Recently ITC has been contacted about debris and fallen tree branches on cycleways.  Again some cycleways are managed by local councils are some are managed by Transport for NSW.

If you have concerns about a cycleway, the best way to report it is to submit the information via this Customer Feedback form, and provide a location.

If the cycleways is managed by Lane Cove Council, Transport for NSW will pass the information on to the relevant teams so they can assess the damage.

    Snap Send Solve

Although Lane Cove Council does not subscribe to Snap Send Solve (which means they don’t get access to all its features), they still have access to reports made via Snap Send Solve.  This means they get limited data sent to them when an issue is logged – so it’s still a quick way to report issues online.   More details here.
