Lane Cove Local Imogen Mumberson Show Believe Debuts at Big Music Crows Nest

Lane Cove singer Imogen Mumberson is set to enchant audiences with her debut show, “Believe,” at Big Music, Crows Nest on 2nd February at 6:30 pm.

The evening will be a fusion of powerful ballads and dynamic pop, brought to life by Imogen and her talented dancers.

Imogen’s show is supported by the Arts Unit’s Talent Development Project (TDP).

TDP, known for nurturing and inspiring young musicians, is preparing Imogen for a career in the music industry.

Over her 3 years with TDP, Imogen has welcomed the opportunity to collaborate with industry professionals, including Australian singer and songwriter Sam Fischer. Sam Fischer is best-known for his breakout hit “This City”. Written while Sam was struggling to make it as a musician in Los Angeles,

“This City” went viral on TikTok with 1.5 million creations and more than a billion views; it’s also had over 200 million streams on Spotify.  He has worked with Meghan Trainor and Demi Lovato.

Lane Cove Local Arts Community Support

Imogen attributes much of her success to the support and guidance from the Lane Cove community.

Imogen attended Birrahlee Preschool and Lane Cove West Public School.

Imogen started dancing at the Lane Cove Dance Academy when she was four.  She told ITC that her dance teacher Kristy Larcher’s positive and nurturing energy has played a huge role in developing her love for dance and performance.  She has studied classical ballet, jazz, and contemporary at the Lane Cove Dance Academy.

Imogen also received her vocal training and mentorship from local singing teacher, Victoria Watson.

Since then, Imogen has completed her HSC at Riverside Girls High School, earning nominations for ENCORE, ONSTAGE, and CALLBACK in Music 1, Drama, and Dance, respectively.

Alongside Brayden Langley, Imogen then took out the contemporary vocal duet section at Sydney Eisteddfod. Adding to an already busy year, Imogen released her debut single, ‘I’m Free,’ on Spotify and YouTube.
