Meet Your Lane Cove Councillors 2024 – 2028

The results of the Local Government Elections held on 14 September 2024 have been announced.  The following councillors have been elected (3 councillors for each of the three ward).   To view the results click here.

Lane Cove Local Government Area has Three Wards

There are three wards: Central, East, and West. A map of the wards is here. The NSW Electoral Commission has a tool on its website where you can enter your address to see which ward you are in.

Statistics

There were some reports that as there were no endorsed Liberal Candidates standing in several local government area (including Lane Cove) there were protest votes that were counted as informal.

When Will the Mayor Be Elected?

An Extraordinary Council meeting will be held on Thursday 10 October 2024 at 7:00pm, where the Councillors will take their Oath of Office and the Mayor and Deputy Mayor will be elected.

When is the Next Council Meeting?

The next Ordinary Council meeting will be held on Thursday 24 October 2024.
