Lane Cove’s Secondhand Saturday Garage Sale is on Saturday 16 August 2025.
Secondhand Saturday is a new community event where you hold the garage sale and we promote it through a FREE on-line listing of garage sales being held across Lane Cove.
Choose to hold your own garage sale at home, or coordinate / get involved with a joint garage sale in your street, with your local school, preschool, community organisation or church. You can also get involved by visiting the garage sales in your local area to grab some great pre-loved items.
Map will be available from the 1st of August 2025.
Host a Garage Sale
Garage sales are a great way to re-home items that you no longer need or use. They are also a great way to raise money for local clubs, community groups and charities. Best of all, they support a sustainable and circular community! Keeping items in use, out of landfill, and reducing the need for raw materials used to manufacture new ‘stuff’.
So join in the fun and host a garage sale at home or with your local community group. We’ll provide resources to help and will spread the word to help promote your garage sale so that more people discover your pre-loved goodies.
