Dr Geoffrey Painter AM: Cataract Surgery Talk

Associate Professor Geoffrey Painter AM is an ophthalmologist practising at the Sydney Adventist Hospital and privately in Gordon. This year he was made a member of the Order of Australia in connection with his service to ophthalmology, and to eye health in Asia and the Pacific. His speciality is cataract surgery. He will tell us about the history of cataract treatment including the most recent advances and will compare our experience in Australia with the experience of people in Asia and the Pacific.
