Local Lane Cove mum Emma Sharp, along with the help of friend Monique Barns, recently introduced a new and exciting concept to the lower north shore, bringing mums and bubs together and supporting local businesses along the way. Mumz Club aims to help new mums and mums-to-be (dads too!) to meet new friends and try different things to do with bub in the area.
Mumz Club is not only an easy, cost-effective way to trial the different activities available in Lane Cove and surrounding areas, but a fabulous way for mums and bubs to get together for support, laughter, to make new friends, and get valuable discounts and freebies they will actually use.
Why Mumz Club?
“I really want to help mums and bubs make the most of their time and enjoy having some fun together,” said Emma.
It was from this that Mumz Club was born – organised activities where you pick and choose what you would like to attend, as well as many discounts and perks from local businesses. This is alongside a supportive online Facebook community where you can connect with new friends, ask questions, read relevant articles and be entertained by posts/photos.
Why Should I Join?
Because it’s awesome! See the website for a full list of benefits and discounts, but you could find yourself doing specialised mum personal training, yoga/pilates with bub, baby music classes, swimming, dance classes, storytime and heaps more. You also get a free professional photography session with bub and a professional photo from one of the group sessions – that alone is well worth the membership fee!
How do you join Mumz Club?
Check out the Mumz Club website, and click on ‘Join Us Today’. It’s that easy! For one easy payment, you will have access to everything Mumz Club has to offer. If you don’t want to commit, you can also choose a one or three-class pass, or come along to a free taster session before joining.
What’s been on recently?
Mumz Club has had loads of fun the last few weeks with Joey Jigs and the ‘Swing Swing’ baby music classes, as well as Storytime/Nursery Rhymes at Burns Bay Bookery. We also knuckled down with our free coffees from NiBu to learn Infant CPR, and the Mumz Club team had a great time at the Lane Cove Makers Market meeting and greeting local businesses and welcoming new members!
