Chaos at Lane Cove Market Square Car Park

This week there was chaos at Lane Cove Market Square car park when a car broke down at the exit gate.  According to reports, it took the NRMA over two hours to attend the breakdown.  Vehicles had to exit via the last parking lane.

New Signs on Longueville Road

The Lane Cove Council has installed new signs at the pedestrian crossing on Longueville Road (see our cover photo) asking pedestrians to consider motorists and cross in groups.  When ITC posted our cover photo on our Facebook page, the consensus was this sign will be ignored.

Funnel Webs

It might be Autumn but Funnel Webs are still being spotted around Lane Cove.  Find out how to catch them and donate them to Australian Reptile Park here.

Loaded Questions

The Longueville Residents Association has had many residents calling and emailing them about receiving unsolicited phone calls from a research firm acting on behalf of the Pathways Property Group. Pathways Property Group has submitted a DA for an aged care Facility in Northwood at the infamous Diddy Intersection.

Many residents are unsure who is calling as the caller does not disclose on whose behalf they are calling until and unless they are specifically asked.  The questions tend to lead to a Yes or No answer.  For example:

“Do you think an aged care facility is a good idea for the local area”?

“Would you or your family like to have an aged care facility in the local community”?

Many residents are wondering how the market research company obtained their phone number and why they are being called when their number is on the Do Not Call Register.

Celebrity Spotting

Ronan Keating was seen enjoying a cuppa at Oliver Brown.  Geoffrey Robertson QC has been seen at Jack & Co.  His Longueville property is on the market.  You can read more about his property here.
