COVID19 Queues and Rapid Antigen Tests

This week, the most discussed topic on ITC Lane Cove Chat is where to get COVID19 tests, the queue time, and the turnaround time.  This was closely followed by discussions on where in Lane Cove can you buy Rapid Antigen Tests.  Local supermarkets and pharmacies are selling out as soon as they receive stock.

Rapid Antigen Tests will be even more in demand, with the NSW Health Department suggesting that as a precaution, a Rapid Antigen Test should be taken before going out.

Booster Shots

You can now have your Booster Shot five months after your second jab – details on where to get your Booster shot in Lane Cove here.  It seems that Lane Cove is eager to get their Booster shot with many pharmacies and local doctors booked out until the New Year.

Vaccination Stats

Lane Cove has 92.8% of its eligible vaccination double jabbed.  It looks like we will not make the 95% as vaccination rates have slowed significantly.

For everyone in NSW 12 years and older, these vaccines are now available:
  • Moderna (Spikevax) – for 12 years+ from pharmacies
  • Pfizer (Comirnaty) – for 12 years+ from pharmacies, GPs, and NSW Health vaccination clinics
  • AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria) – for 18 years+ from pharmacies, GPs, and NSW Health vaccination clinics.
If you have any questions about which vaccine you should receive, speak to your GP.
This week, there are appointments available in Lane Cove for AZ, Pfizer and Moderna.

There are also various other tools available such as Covid Queue and Covid-19 Near me – which show you vaccinations and testing locations and availability.

Little Red Robin Restaurant and Wine Bar

This week in review is sponsored by Little Red Robin Restaurant and Wine Bar

Recently the Australian Wine List of the Year Awards were announced.

Little Red Robin Restaurant and Bar wine list was awarded a Three Glass Rating, and they could not contain their excitement!

The Three Glass rating is the highest rating available and reflects an excellent wine list according to the panel of expert judges.

“There is thought behind every drink on this impressive list, whether its the wide selection of non alcoholic options, the extended glass and carafe availability or even the artisan ciders. Well presented, and wonderfully diverse, the team at Little Red Robin should be proud of this list.”
