Del Piero’s Pizza & Cafe
Cafe Geo in Lane Cove North has reopened as Del Piero’s Pizza & Cafe. They are located at 703 Mowbray Road. Check out the menu here.

Oliver Brown
Oliver Brown Lane Cove closed on 14th August 2022, and hoardings (see our cover photo) have been erected. A new tenant will start fitting out soon.
Fuchsia Boutique
Fuschia Boutique now has a closing date. They will close on 17 September 2022 (possibly earlier if they have no stock). There is still current season Josephy Ribkoff stunning dresses with 30% off. All winter stock is $39.99. They are located on 135 Longueville Road (near Aussie Lane Cove).
Relocated
Sloans Salon is now located on the other side of Longueville Road. They are now located in a purpose-built salon. Read more here.
Rebranded/New Owners
Renegade Cycles
The ITC family has purchased many bikes from Renegade Cycles over the years (including Miss ITC’s first very pink Trek bike). Josh has been the owner for many years and published the following statement.
“Renegade Cycles Pty Limited announces the sale of its business to Velo Co Lane Cove Pty Ltd.
General Manager of Velo Co Lane Cove, Griff Moore, said in a statement that he is excited about the prospects of taking over Renegade Cycles. “It’s an outstanding business and well-known brand in the Sydney market. Renegade Cycles has been an integral part of the Lane Cove community for years, and we want to continue that legacy.”
Josh Blake, the founder of Renegade Cycles, said, “After 29 years, it was time for me to turn it over to someone with a fresh set of eyes. Griff has the bicycle shop experience and energy to take Renegade Cycles to the next level. It’s been an absolute pleasure for me all these years. So many wonderful people and experiences.”
Griff and Josh are working toward a seamless transition over the coming weeks with staff, suppliers and systems coming on board.”
Harbourline Real Estate
Harbourline Real Estate is now Stone Real Estate Greenwich.
Harbourline Real Estate’s previous owner Bernadette Hayes will stay on in the business as a Partner, which will operate under the guidance of Group CEO Marshall Cobb and his team, who also look after the nearby ‘super-size’ Stone Real Estate Crows Nest franchise. Marshall Cobb is a long-time Lane Cove resident.
Background
Stone Real Estate initially approached Bernadette to join the group as an agent; however, as Bernadette’s husband was contemplating retirement, a full business merger was more appropriate and beneficial to both parties.
Over the past 11 years, Hayes has established herself as one of the top sales agents on the Lower North Shore, holding a sizable share of the Greenwich market. She has appeared on Selling Houses Australia and has sold many of the highest-value homes in the suburb over the past seven years.
Marshall Cobb said: “Bernadette Hayes will continue to be an integral part of the business. We welcome Maggie Mackenzie on board to join Hanny Japri in our sales team. The wonderful property management team and administration staff are also staying in place to continue their great work.”
Bernadette Hayes’ record includes achieving the highest sale price ever in Greenwich at $13.57m, and she also currently holds the top sale price in Greenwich for 2022 at $10.7m. “We look forward to the next chapter, and we are very excited about joining the Stone group,” she said.
“We remain in our lovely office in Greenwich Village and will continue to support the local schools, the sporting clubs and our other charitable events we organise, including the annual Christmas Carols by Candlelight.”

Opening Soon
We have been told that Harris Farm Markets will open on Thursday 8th September 2022.
Grill’d will be opening in the old TAB building. However, they have not yet submitted a development application, so it may be a while before it opens.
