Diana Bernard has a social work degree and a Master’s in Public Health. She has a long history working in health, firstly in a clinical capacity and then in prevention, education, health promotion, project management and research and has worked in a broad range of areas including adolescence, sexual health, HIV, Hepatitis and ageing. As the Manager of Education and Special Projects at Seniors Rights, a community legal centre specialising in the elderly and which provides an advocacy service, Diana will talk about the work of the service including how it assists with elder financial abuse commonly seen in this sector.
