The North Shore Times reported that residents of one Lane Cove Strata Complex had been issued a letter advising parents that their children will be fined if they make too much noise. This article generated a great amount of debate on In The Cove Facebook page.
The Welsh 7’s Team visited Lane Cove
The Welsh 7’s team were the guests of Lane Cove Junior Rugby Union Club and they held clinics for local boys and girls.
Pom Pom Making in Lane Cove Plaza
The Lane Cove Plaza came alive on Saturday morning with pom pom making – this will happen every Saturday morning in February. Cee Egan, Lane Cove’s Yarn Bomber is teaching kids how to make pom poms.

This week’s North Shore LAC Crime Report:-
Mid Range PCA – Linley Point
About 10:40pm Wednesday 25th January Police were conducting stationary Random Breath Testing northbound on Burns Bay Road at Artarmon. At this time, police directed a white Holden sedan into the RBT site.
Police breath tested the driver, a 72 year old male from Lane Cove who returned a positive reading. As a result the male was arrested and conveyed back to Chatswood Police Station for a breath analysis.
Back at the station the male stated he had been drinking at a club in Gladesville where he had consumed approximately 8 beers. The male was submitted to a breath analysis which returned a reading of 0.101 grams.
The male was subsequently served with a Notice of Suspension for his driver’s licence and will be required to attend Hornsby Local Court next month charged with Drive with middle range PCA – 2nd offence.
How do you like your burgers? Flipped? Well, that is what happened to this truck on the corner of Mowbray Road and Centennial Avenue this week.
