Being able to skilfully think and respond ‘critically’ about a question is important for your academic success at school, higher education and in future employment. This workshop examines the descriptive terminology used by NESA, and how to read, interpret and respond to exam questions.
Organisation in Exam Preparation
Wednesday 19 September, 6:00pm – 7:00pm
Some students simply do not prepare effectively for their exams. It’s all about studying smarter not harder. This workshop shows you how to revise for your exams and structure study blocks.
Managing Stress & Anxiety During Exams
Wednesday 26 September, 6:00pm – 7:00pm
Many students feel overwhelmed as they feel the pressure to succeed and meet their own personal expectations. This workshop discusses the role of mindset and positive self-talk as a mediator for perfectionism, stress, anxiety and academic procrastination.

Learning With Confidence is all about connecting the right tutor for your HSC child. Their intensive, individualised approach helps their tutors to get the best out of every student. A space where tutors and professionals will be supervising homework from primary to high school students, helping on specific assignments, subject, and study.
This will enable you to relax about homework reminders, no nagging and monitoring homework at home. We will include skills for organisation, planning, time management + study skills.
High school sessions $69 (group) (75 min – Weekly for the term) orIndividual Tutoring $95/hr (Upper Primary & High school) Mon/Tue only are available. Max 4 people with a specialist – 6 with specialist and tutor.

Fours days of supervised study sessions for HSCers. 6-7 hours of study per day but go home and sleep in your own bed!
Price includes all food (Breakfast through to dinner and snacks), welcome pack and some subject assistance.
Organised study sessions, breaks for food and relaxation, time to discuss the reality of Jesus in the world today and make new friends.
All year 12 students welcome, limited places.
Yoga for Teens
The ideal Yoga class for stressed-out High School aged students in Lane Cove.
The physical aspects of Teens Yoga will stretch, strengthen and tone your body – which complements the sport you play by increasing focus and preventing injury AND is ideal for desk-sitters and slouchers.
Aside from the physical benefits, teenagers learn skills for coping with the unique issues they’re faced with every day: exams & expectations, stressful schedules & situations, friendships and relationships, and the enormous pressure to fit in.
We provide a safe, fun space where they don’t need to overachieve – and offer tools to deal with pressure, stress and anxiety AND develop focus and confidence. They’ll truly relax with a combination of movement, breathing and gentle meditation techniques.

Pilates for Teens will provide a safe space for Teens to explore their changing bodies, teach them about their core strength, improve their flexibility and stamina and work on correct posture to help rule out any potential back problems which can arise hunching over a laptop.

Empower360 Fitness offers holistic Fitness and Nutrition for all ages and abilities. Focus is on fun and confidence, working out should be enjoyable!

Empower360 Fitness offers one on one coaching, outdoor group ‘bootcamp’ sessions plus, we offer the only online program specifically for teens. The Empower360 Teen Fitness Challenge is a holistic Fitness, Nutrition and Body Confidence program that is designed specifically for teenagers. There is are no weigh-ins, measuring or calorie counting.
