Cryoclinics Australia is coming to Lane Cove. ITC thought it would be a good idea if we found out what Cyroclincs Australia will be offering the Lane Cove community! We asked Cryoclinics Australia to tell us all all about their treatments.
We specialise in providing quality cryotherapy treatments and we pride ourselves on using these treatments to help our clients achieve the best outcome for their bodies.
Here’s a quick look at the treatments that we offer:
Whole body cryotherapy/cryosauna
Seen athletes using ice baths for their recovery? Whole body cryotherapy takes it to a whole new level! It’s a more efficient, effective and hygienic way to assist in your body recovery after a sporting event or an intense workout.
But it’s not just for athletes. Whole body cryotherapy assists people from all walks of life who have pain issues, inflammation or arthritis, chronic fatigue or skin conditions. The cold temperatures of the cryosauna can assist in soothing aches and pains and improve circulation. Other side effects of this treatment are boosted endorphins and increased metabolism – so there’s really nothing to lose from giving this treatment a go!
The treatment involves spending a short period of time in a cryosauna – a temperature-controlled cooling chamber with temperatures dropping as low as -150°C.As the cryosauna exposes your body to extremely cold temperatures, our blood rushes through our cardiovascular system, where it’s cleansed of toxins and supplied with oxygen, enzymes and nutrients. When you step out of the cryosauna and into warm air, that oxygenated, nutrient rich blood rushes right back out to your toxin-cleansed peripheral tissues. Whole body cryotherapy can help harness these natural responses and use them to the body’s benefit – like muscle recovery, pain relief and boosted endorphins!
Cryolipolisis is sometimes referred to as cold body sculpting or a non-surgical alternative to liposuction. Studies show that cryolipolisis effectively freezes and eliminates fat cells in a targeted area, without damaging the surrounding tissue. It works by utilising the body’s natural response to cold temperatures, and can help to remove stubborn pockets of fat that cannot be removed with just diet and exercise.
After your cryolipolysis treatment is complete, your body will naturally collect the damaged fat cells and eliminate them. This is why you can safely complete a fat freezing treatment without any downtime, unlike more traditional liposculpture procedures.
We help clients in situations like:
- Removing post-pregnancy tummy fat
- Removing “middle age spread” – areas like abdomen fat, love handles
- Preparing for a big event, e.g. wedding, birthday, travel
- Supplementing your exercise and diet regime
- General wellbeing
Similarly to cryolipolisis, this treatment is for removing fat on targeted areas of the body – with zero downtime. Fat cavitation would therefore also be suitable for the situations listed above. The treatment we recommend for you will be based on your body type and your preference.
The difference between fat cavitation and cryolipolisis is the way that the treatment is implemented. Fat cavitation uses ultrasound waves applied to fat cells to break them up, and allows the body’s natural processes to remove them. Combined with radio frequency treatments, fat cavitation is extremely effective in reducing cellulite and making skin look younger and firmer.
Fat cavitation achieves best results on larger areas of the body, with fat deposits that are least 3cm thick. This is due to the depth at which ultrasounds penetrate fat. Fat cavitation can be used on many areas of the body like thighs, buttocks, and stomach.
Cellulite treatment/skin tightening
This treatment is for anyone who is looking to smooth and tighten their skin or remove cellulite. Cellulite can affect anyone to varying degrees, based on factors like lifestyle, hormones, genetics, diet and more.
Using a combination of ultrasound and radio frequency technology, we reduce the size of fat deposits, reduce cellulite, and smooth and tighten the skin in the targeted area. The ultrasound waves stimulate the skin and promotes the production of collagen through the use of radio frequency waves. The radio frequency waves heat the targeted area, causing the cells to shrink and produce more collagen, which makes skin elastic and smooth.
The highly targeted nature of this treatment makes it safe, easy and effective for treating cellulite in specific areas where exercise, diet and fat loss may not have reduced the appearance of dimples or ‘orange peel’ skin.
