A return and earn reverse vending machine is now located at Little Street Carpark.
The machine became operational on Monday 9 December 2019. It is located on P1 of the Little Street car park.
As of Sunday 12 January 2020, more than 106,000 containers had been deposited.
Until Sunday 23 February 2020, your 10c refund can be donated to Rural Aid for the Bottles for the Bush appeal.
Little Street Car Park
Little Street Car Park is located opposite the Lane Cove Aquatic Centre. It is located in a parking station but you do not need to go into the carpark itself. The machine is located before the boomgate.
Operating Hours
The machine has limited operating hours as it is located in the basement of a residential building.

The machine is usually busy between 10 am – 2 pm. The most popular day is Sunday and the least popular day is Thursday.
Reverse Vending Machine Tips
Before you arrive:
- Separate eligible plastic and glass containers to save time at the RVM.
- Empty all liquids, dispose of loose bottle lids.
- If you intend to receive your refund via PayPal, download the myTOMRA app.
At the RVM:
- Please consider nearby residence by returning your containers in an orderly manner.
- Keep the RVM site clean and tidy.
- Remember to take your ineligible containers home for kerbside recycling.
