Want to know what is happening in Lane Cove on ANZAC Day? We have put together a guide for you.

Lane Cove ANZAC Day Ceremony

You’re invited to join the Lane Cove RSL Sub Branch and the Lane Cove Council for an ANZAC Day ceremony on Monday 25 April 2022 at The Canopy.

Please arrive at 7:15 am for a 7:25 am start.

The Lane Cove RSL Sub-Branch and the Lane Cove Council put a great deal of effort into the ceremony so please come along and remember Lane Cove locals who served to protect our country.

The Lane Cove RSL Sub Branch asks that anyone who intends on marching at the Ceremony please form up on the South Side of the ablution block ready to step off at 7:25 am

If there are any current or ex-serving military personnel in the Lane Cove Council area the Lane Cove RSL Sub Branch would like to invite you to join their sub-branch.

Local members of the sub-branch say the benefits of joining RSL NSW, and in particular, your local Sub-Branch are for the comradeship, a sense of belonging, local military history presentation.  You can also be involved in fundraising and supporting local commemorative events.

If anyone is interested in joining the Lane Cove RSL Sub-Branch click here – or contact Danielle Brown Assistant Secretary – [email protected] to find out more details.

The Lane Cove RSL Sub-Branch look forward to seeing everyone at the Anzac Day Ceremony.

Show us your ANZAC Day pride

Post to our Facebook page photos of your ANZAC Day commemorations. The photos do not have to be taken in Lane Cove, we just want to see the wonderful ways you commemorated ANZAC Day. The photo that we think most catches the spirit of ANZAC Day will win a small prize.

ANZAC Day Craft

For those of you with little ones, you always know your kids will come home with a poppy artwork for ANZAC Day. These days, many of us are keeping the kids home from school and daycare but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on a gorgeous poppy!  Thanks to a local Art Teacher and owner of JumpingClay Australia, Jana Griffiths, she has pulled together a few ANZAC Day themed craft and art activities which are simple and easy to do.  Read more here.
